As physicians, we play a central role in patient care. We must all take the necessary steps to become informed and engaged in the conversation for national health care reform. The Cooperative of American Physicians wants to ensure that the voice of our more than 10,000 physicians is heard in Washington, DC. Please take the time to urge Congress to preserve patient choice, support reform that allows for innovative and experimental medicine, eliminate non-health care related costs (such as non-meritorious lawsuits), and preserve physician autonomy. To help you communicate with your legislators, we have prepared a draft letter for your approval.
